Rosenthal manufactured their Continental Classic Platinum in Bavaria, Germany during the early 1960s. This pattern was designed by Raymond Loewy, who is remembered as the father of modern industrial design. 

The sets are in good condition. Due to age, there may be tiny visible imperfections such as slight wear to the platinum trim or other minor scratches.
